About
Hello, my name is David Marks. I'm a freelance Interaction / UX Designer working in London. I've been freelance since 2008, and have recently worked on projects for clients including: ICAP, Temperley London, Splendid and Engage.
I work on bespoke applications and websites for both the desktop and mobile devices. Client projects range from websites for fashion houses to applications for banks, to in-car entertainment applications.
On a typical project I'll be involved in identifying a solution to the clients problem, wireframing the solution & creating a look and feel: Throughout the project I work closely with a team of programmers to develop the product. Projects that I've been involved in are typically built in XHTML, Flash, WPF and Silverlight.
I graduated with a 1st Class BA Honours in Interaction Design from Ravensbourne College in 2003 and have since worked full time in Interaction Design.
Before going freelance I worked full time at Digit as a Senior Designer for 4 years.
