Lead Designer
Designed directly for Temperley London. Technical development by Graphic Alliance
I was approached by Temperley and commissioned to re-design their Temperley.com website and newsletters.
Unlike the concept I created at Digit, this design is intended to be minimal as possible: With Temperley's collections varying from season to season, we did not want to create a design that would clash with future campaigns: Therefore it is designed to be as flexible as possible.
The idea/concept behind the website is to give Temperley a canvas to display and let their collections do the talking. Each campaign introduces it's own concept: The website template is designed to be as flexible as possible, and each seasons campaign introduce it's own set of fonts, borders, colours and style.
Fitting into this theme, the navigation is designed to be as netrual as possible, while still being clearly prominent so as not to hinder the users experience. On one side the user arrives at the site and has a clear & obvious method to navigate the site, on the other balance, the navigation is not overpowering and keeps the focus on the content of the page.
